God is Great

So many things has happened since I last blogged here. Great things that highlights God's finger print in my life.
Karen and I went to the OB on May 1st for the first time and found out a few things:
She's not 12 weeks like we were told by our primary care physician...she's more like 14-15 weeks along
Hence she's NOT due on November 9th but rather October 28th
And...we found out what we're having.

Here's a better picture of our beautiful baby boy...I think he has my nose and Karen's eyes but that's just my own personal opinion ;)

There was also this little trip I took with our Senior Pastor, Pastor Mike, to Khabarovsk Russia from May 7th to the 17th. The whole trip was a life changing experience. I will reserve that story for another entry but for now I'll show you guys a few pictures just to whet your appetite.

...we're pregnant!...

by this friday she will be in her 12th week.

we are VERY happy!

both of our parents are HAPPY!

both our sibs are HAPPY!

our church family and friends are ECSTATIC!

November 9th is the estimated time of arrival for our little one.

I AM EXTREMELY EXCITED!

work has been HECTIC but PHENOMENAL!...

church has been awesome...

karen and i are now working together...at DESTINY...woohoo!...

the house is coming along...

i got a 42in. plasma screen HDTV for christmas...YEAH BOYEEEEE!...

i'm an uncle...again. congrats keith, resa and hudson! welcome wesley!...

God is sooo good.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many things has transpired over the past few months! i know that i've slacked off in updating my xanger but what can i say? LIFE happened! i am so EXCITED to share with you, my diehard and faithful readers, a few highlights from this crazy and wonderful thing that i live called LIFE.

i don't think i'll be able to share things in it's chronological order but enjoy it anyway...i know i have! =)

[a year younger?]
i turned 35 this year but the funny thing is i don't feel a DAY older than 25! not to brag or anything "BUT" anytime anyone takes a stab at guessing my age the average guesstimate is 27.
i claim and proclaim Psalm 103:5 over my life and all praise, honor and glory belongs to God and God alone.

[new house]

Tulsa,Oklahoma = home...for now.
August 15th - placed anoffer on a house.
August 18th - they accepted our offer buthad a counter offer.
August 18th - wecountered their counter offer.
August21st - PRAISE GOD they TOOK our counteroffer!!!
September 26th - we will be closing.
Rachel our realtor ROCKS!

[a new SEASON!]
i've been desperately praying to be released from being a respiratory therapist for the past couple of years now. there were times that it would be physically painful for me to even think of going to work!

I AM A LIVING TESTAMENT that God answers prayers.

long story short...on July 17th, 2006 i started working at Destiny Church as the Music Pastor's assistant!!!

PRAISE GOD for His faithfulness, mercy and grace.

almost a month and a half has past and i still get this goofy grin on my face every morning i drive into Destiny Church's campus to work. i GET to work in an environment full of creativity, music and passion. i GET to work with people who are as happy and excited with what they do as i am if not MORE. i GET to work with a bunch of people who love the Lord, loves His people, loves people, loves what they do!
i have NEVER been in a working environment where literally EVERYONE gets along and gets along really WELL!

i am SO blessed, so grateful and so thankful to GOD first and foremost, to my wife karen for following me to "the ends of the earth", to Pastor Mike and the whole Destiny Church staff for believing in me. from the depths of my heart...THANK YOU!

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

this movie is freakin' HILARIOUS! just the scene where he stabbed his leg with a knife to prove that he's paralyzed is worth the money. also, the family dinner scene where RICKY BOBBY says grace cracked me UP! obviously this movie is NOT for kid's to watch but if you have ANY sense of humor in your body you'll like this one.

[nick and amy's day]
karen and i had the privilege to be a part of nick and amy's wedding. they are the type of friends who we consider family.
it was such a beautiful wedding filled with laughter and joy. praise and worship played a vital role in this ceremony.
we love you guys and pray that as you discover each other in a whole different perspective...you also encounter God's love and character through you as husband and wife...as one.

karen is holding the bank note for her car that we PAID OFF!
no credit card debt, no car loans (both our cars are paid off), nothing!
thank you God for your faithfulness, graciousness and love!
thank you Dave Ramsey and his book "The Total Money Makeover"...believe me, IT WORKS!
thank you karen for your infectious passion to get us completely out of debt.

a professor from wisconsin claims AND teaches that the BUSH administration orchestrated the whole 9/11 event AND the implosion of the twin towers in NYC.
i have never heard this before.
